Horizon team praised on Jubilee weekend removal works

Whislt many were enjoying the extended Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, thte Horizon team were hard at work completing a tight programme of asbestos removal works at City of London Academy Highgate Hill.

Horizon Environmental was carrying out an environmental clean of the walls of the sub-basement plant room at the secondary school while pupils were off for half term and the Bank Holiday.

Our supervisor Nick, and the whole team, did a brilliant job and the client, Galliford Try - Southern was over the moon with the results.  The tight programme restraints, with the reuse of the area needed from the Monday, created a number of challenges which we overcame with our usual diligence.

Project Manager, Greg, Galliford Try Building – Southern says: “It has been extremely refreshing to witness Nick’s commitment to delivery and the management of his team in ensuring the completion of the works over a tight programme period. The team’s professionalism shown throughout had been infectious, this includes their conduct during the unannounced visit and inspection from our safety advisor last week and several client visits.”

Greg continued: “Please can you pass on our thanks to Nick and his whole team in delivering these works to programme. We look forward to continuing this relationship with any future requirements.”.

Ben Ives, Managing Director, Horizon Environmental says: “The Horizon team are known for delivering quality services on time and on budget but it took real dedication and excellent team work to deliver this project.  We are delighted to have this recognised with such positive feedback from Galliford Try - Southern.”
